Meet Alex, Our 2023 Summer Intern!

Please join The Kelly Group in welcoming our 2023 summer intern, Alexandra Joy Schenning. Alex started at the end of May and will be with us through mid-August when she will then enter her sophomore year at Vanderbilt University.

The Kelly Group's internship program is part of our commitment to continue growing our personnel resources for the benefit of our clients and community, while offering valuable opportunities to energetic young adults eager to learn about financial planning and wealth management.

At Vanderbilt, Alex is majoring in both math and computer science with a minor in business. Her interest in these topics is reflected in her experience last summer when she taught children ages 4-14 in the STEM program at the Boys & Girls Club.

Alex says that she is excited to have the opportunity to sit in on meetings side by side with our advisors and financial planners as they meet with clients. "I enjoy exploring all the work that goes into creating a financial plan for clients," Alex says. "It's a lot more complex than I thought it would be. I'm impressed by the framework The Kelly Group has created to help clients be successful."

Born and raised in Bel Air, Alex graduated from The Bryn Mawr School in 2022. When she is not at school, she lives in Forest Hill.
